Finding Liberation: Preparing to Play Our Role
As individuals, practitioners, and aspiring allies, there is a significant need to learn about others, their lived experiences, and external systems that uphold oppression. And, there is also a critical need to look inward, to examine our personal lens on the world and how it was formed. Our lens shapes our mindset and impacts our ability to successfully navigate this work.
In this session, we’ll look at some of the ways our lens serves us, how it can create barriers, and discuss concrete solutions for understanding and expanding our capacity to play our role in finding liberation.
